Having Doubts about Social Media?
If you really think that social media is just a passing fad, you must watch this video and think again. Social media is changing the way we can interact with our customers and letting our customers get involved in our businesses in a way that they have never been able to before. Those companies not participating in social media are a threat to themselves. Its guaranteed tat people are going to talk about your business online –its up to you whether you want to listen and respond proactively or if you want to be ignorant and pretend they aren’t talking.

Next Steps for Social Media
This is a really great article talking about what we can do to keep our social media listeners engaged and wanting to be fans of ours. I think too many people are using social media as a press release distribution point and not seeing social media for what it is — a place to be more casual, still sharing news but in a relaxed setting. It’s like being at a cocktail party. You talk about the news but you aren’t reading it directly from a newspaper.
Wilderness Resort to Unveil Haunted Hotel & Mirror Maze this Saturday
Get ready to be scared out of your mind, as the Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort unveils its new Tombstone Town Haunted Hotel and Livery on October 10 just in time for Halloween at America’s largest waterpark resort, located in Wisconsin Dells.
According to Joe Eck, general manager for the resort, “Ghouls and boys are sure to love the horrific thrills and chills of the Wilderness Resort’s new Tombstone Town.
It features a haunted hotel where the guests who have checked in surely won’t be checking out, as well as, a fantastic Mineshaft Mirror Maze with surprises around every turn. There is also a new prize arcade in this portion of the hotel for guests to enjoy. You won’t want to miss these spooktacular adventures.”
Guests enter the Tombstone Town Haunted Hotel through a lobby area and then meander into a saloon, dingy hallway, worn down guest room, grungy kitchen and creepy attic all while being greeted by zombies, ghostly figures, unexpected creatures and frightening noises. There is also an old horse stable to explore; blacksmith and TNT store; haunted jail; and hangman judge. It’s a ghoulishly good time for anyone who dares to explore it.
The Mineshaft Mirror Maze features what seems like an endless amount of mazes and hallways thanks to the use of mirrors, lighting and other special effects.
Exploring the new Tombstone Town Haunted Hotel & Livery and Mirror Maze costs $8.95. The attraction is only open to resort guests.
Other fun Halloween things planned at the resort every weekend in October include horse-drawn wagon rides to a pick-your-own pumpkin patch; pick and paint your own gourds; make your own caramel apples; outdoor movie nights featuring Monsters vs. Aliens; and a Halloween Monster Mash on October 31.
Earlier this year, the resort unveiled several other attractions including the Wilderness Canyon Canopy Zip Line Adventure, which take guests on an amazing treetop adventure spanning the length of over 8 football fields; outdoor mini golf; go-karts and kiddy karts; and two indoor 3-D, black light mini golf courses.
Make your plans now to come check out all of these great new attractions at the Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort. Call 800.867.WILD (9453) or visit http://www.wildernessterritory.com/ to make your reservations today! (Wilderness Resort is a client of Fendos PR.)
